Replacement valve assemblies

There are 2 different versions of the main valve assembly on the P240 and P260 tools.
Refer to the figures and information below to identify the correct part number for ordering replacement parts.

• All tools with Serial Numbers starting with "25" or below integrate the old-style actuator system.
• All tools with Serial Numbers starting with "28" or above integrate the new-style actuator system.
• Tools with Serial Numbers starting with "26" or "27" may have either system. Remove the head cap (P-501 or P-601) to check if your tool has a steel (grey) actuator or the composite (black) actuator.
• Order P642U (includes P-601 & P-543V) to upgrade old style tool to the new style tool with old head P-506 (if reusable).
• Order P506U (includes P-601, P-506 & P543V) to upgrade old style tool to the new style tool with a new head P-506 included.
